Lök is a company dedicated to the development of high-quality products, including fine chocolate and coffee. Our vision is to transform rural Colombia by promoting sustainable production models and fair trade channels that create opportunities for small cocoa and coffee producers.We work directly with 1,300 farm families in Arauca in the Orinoco region and Tumaco in the Pacific rainforest region. These regions have been affected by illegal coca cultivation for more than 50 years, and thanks to cocoa farming, these families no longer grow coca. We are working with these regions of Colombia to provide farmers with a profitable and different alternative to illegal cultivation.Lök works hand-in-hand with the El Alcaraván Foundation to develop new techniques for cacao cultivation and provides technical assistance to farmers to improve the management of this crop.Colombia grows one of the best "Fine Flavor Cacao".
