Mark Meyer, owner and designer, has been a bootmaker since 1980 and started the bootmaking business at only 15 years old in Houston, Texas with his brother Paul Meyer. They built the business together with their entrepreneurial spirit and diligent work ethic by working locally and attending trade shows across the United States. The endearing Meyer brothers fostered many friendships and lifetime customers both in the Houston area and around the Nation, even Internationally. Paul passed on at only 35 years old and Mark continued building and growing the business to include the popular Alligator Solution Gator Hunt & Boots Package. Many customers experience the hunt of a lifetime with Mark as he takes them gator hunting and makes them a pair of custom classic gator boots, belt, and wallet from their gator hunt. Currently, Carah Meyer, Mark's daughter is buying the boot company as she is finishing up her degree at Texas A&M University in College Station. Carah has grown up around the boot business, traveling to conventions that support wildlife conservation & sustainable hunting. She will be opening a new boot shop in downtown Bryan which should be opening in 2024!
