Founded in 2009 by Marvz (Marvin Levendal), Mobcow Entertainment started as an independent record label and events activation company. Marvz, a passionate artist, social entrepreneur, and music production expert, has guided Mobcow through a journey of artistic and entrepreneurial evolution. With a focus on hip-hop and R&B, Mobcow has made significant strides in the South African music scene, hosting iconic urban events and forming collaborative partnerships with dynamic musicians. The company has been pivotal in mobilizing the entrepreneurial vision of artists using various technologies and expertise.In 2019, Marvz expanded his impact by founding the Lotus Street Foundation (LSF), a Level 1 BBBEE, youth and women-led non-profit organization. With a mission to foster innovative social change through education, art, and technology, LSF focuses on uplifting and empowering communities in the Western Cape, particularly the Cape Flats. LSF's initiatives, such as Danya's Care Pack Drive and Beyond Being Bullied program, have touched thousands of lives. The organization has also provided extensive COVID-19 relief, reaching over 22 communities and impacting thousands through food relief and health awareness workshops.Mobcow's achievements include being a preferred facilitator for youth programs like Inspired Stages and Game Changers, partnering with Vodacom SA to empower schools through technology, and producing music that resonates nationally and internationally. Marvz's leadership and vision have been instrumental in both Mobcow's and LSF's success. He continues to combine art, technology, and entrepreneurship to make a lasting impact in South Africa.
