Nirvana Sciences is a technology development company spun-out from the Department of Chemistry at North Carolina State University. NIRvana Sciences is commercializing novel fluorescent dyes with ultra-narrow emissions that will increase the performance of fluorescence-based medical diagnostic and imaging systems and tests. Ultra-narrow emission dyes reduce detection complexities; thereby generating more accurate data for clinicians while also increasing multiplexing capabilities highly desired by researchers.
