I have fifteen years of experience in the field of translation and linguistics, including work as a language coordinator, editor, and translator. My education is highly specialized in translation and includes two master's degrees: in Medical Translation (Universitat Jaume I) and Audiovisual Translation (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona).My work experience has allowed me to collaborate with various entities and work in different fields of knowledge. I have continuously collaborated with the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya for the past decade as a language coordinator, resource creator and research assistant, as well as teacher. I also collaborate with the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona as an editor for research papers from the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting. I have performed editing tasks for medical papers, and translation and interpreting jobs for entities such as the Spanish Red Cross and the City Hall of the City of Granollers. Furthermore, I have collaborated for two years as project manager and translator (including audiovisual work) in the field of digital business at IM Digital Business School.My areas of expertise, aside from tackling general translation from all fields, include legal, medical, and business documents, as well as subtitling.I am a highly responsible, reliable, and organized professional with a combination of skills and training in several fields of translation.
