ABOUT USThe NATIVE AMERICAN TRIBAL ENERGY ASSOCIATION (NATEA) is a non-profit organization that was established to increase Tribal control over natural resources, the creation of renewable energy, creation of green energy, and give Indian Tribes and Indian peoples a voice in energy policy and legislation so that they can control their own destiny. NATEA’s mission is to protect, serve, and assist Indian Tribes in realizing their economic potential when it comes to energy policy and legislation. NATEA will work with the Federal Government and its agencies, along with Congress to develop policies that will enable Indian Tribes to move towards energy independence and self-determination.
