Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Plant was founded in 1958.During the years of independence, as a result of the efforts of highly qualified employees of the Navoi Plant, as well as the realization of modernization, technical development of its units, the product quality, export volume were increased significantly. Today Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Plant is one of the world leaders in gold mining and one of the most modern enterprises in the industry. According to the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, a Program for the development of the Navoi mining and metallurgical plant until 2026 was adopted, which provides for the implementation of 27 investment projects worth more than $3 bln. As a result, it will be possible to create more than 30 000 new jobs and increase the precious metals mining by 30%.
