Nerdvana was founded on a simple principle: to channel the newest and most exciting emerging technologies to South Texas & create first-of-a-kind, innovative learning experiences for South Texas children and youth. Since starting-up in April 2016, we have directly impacted over 23,000 students of all ages, backgrounds and socioeconomic status. Our STEM programs - developed with RGV schools and children in mind - create opportunities for South Texas children and youth to learn about and work with a myriad of cutting-edge technologies. As a team, it is our mission to be role models, to leverage these technologies while challenging students to expand their worlds and ignite their curiosity.We are proud to say that Nerdvana's programs have created first-of-a-kind learning experiences in Drone Technology, Augmented and Virtual Reality, 3D Printing, Programming, Robotics, Cryptography and more. We inspire and encourage our youth to become the next generation of innovators, thinkers, developers, and builders who will work and live in the Rio Grande Valley, expanding the STEM environment here.
