NoJack is a smart bicycle alarm that connects to the user’s phone via Bluetooth to automatically arm and disarm itself. Any deliberate tampering with the bike triggers the 120dB alarm to scare away potential thieves. Users can set the sensitivity themselves to prevent false alarms. If the user’s phone dies, they can tap out a unique, preset rhythm on the unit to disable it, and the device will also track ride data and provide analytics. The goal is to make the device strong enough to withstand blunt-force attacks and attacks from sharp instruments and drills designed to disable the device for at least 30 seconds.
