BackgroundThe Nordic American Group consists of Nordic American LLC, an international defense advisory services company based in Oslo, Norway, Nordic American Ventures, LLC, an international project/business development company based in San Luis Obispo, California, and Nordic American Capital Company, LLC, a capital acquisition and investment vehicle, and a Fund Management entity (in development).The business of the Group is predicated upon long (and continuing) relationships in the international defense and aerospace sector, its global prime contractors and many sub-tier suppliers, and the international defense and commercial technology companies which support that community. In addition to 34 years and ~$18B of international defense programs and related technology business development, billions of dollars of counter-trade / barter and industrial participation (offset) business development and execution has been accomplished in parallel.Nordic American's Primary RoleThe Nordic American team focuses on a very specific need – building and making real the substance of a potential business, in other words, filling the gap between an idea and/or an entrepreneurial development and the investment that would finance and benefit from the business creation.• Advisory Services: direct, hands-on consulting services investigating the state of development, of the management team, assessing competitive and political pressures, the market, achievability, and identifying probabilities of success.• Cooperative Development: in the event of multinational efforts, we provide direct in-country training on the form and negotiation of international industrial cooperation agreements between local national companies and specific companies in the sectors of interest. The intent is to assure local nationals of participation in elements of such international projects.• Local National Company "Ramp-Up" Assistance: a "know-how" gap often exists between foreign national companies and their would-be partners in development projects. The probability of successful return to investors is significantly enhanced by working with the local nationals to be able to stand on a more equal footing with foreign primes and their teams.• Management Teaming and Investment: our team will provide management functions during early phases of a project, and in selected circumstances, invest directly.
