North County Veteran Stand Down is an annual four-day event in Vista, California, that enables homeless and needy veterans to receive much needed services in a safe, friendly, drug-free and secure environment.During their stay at the Stand Down, veterans, their families and their pets will receive lodging, food, clothing and a variety of services to help them both physically and mentally.It is our goal to show respect and help give our homeless veterans the confidence and the services needed that will help rebuild their lives, and get them off the streets and into permanent housing.
