Oberg Filters, LLC have been manufacturing our own eco-friendly filters designed by my father, Gordy Oberg in the early 1970's. My Dad blew a couple of engines while competing in NASCAR events in the Pacific Northwest. He designed and built the first "Oberg Tattle-Tale Oil Filter" based on the belief that much of the damage caused to the engines stemmed from "junk" which crept into the engine, never fully filtered in the oiling system.I renamed the company "Oberg Filters" when I stepped up to run the company in 2006. I've kept the same design and quality, however I decided to CNC mill the filters and offer it in anodized colors. My Dad, Gordy remains passionate about our filters, and is proud to have our family name on a product that remains an industry standard.
