Paul Rudeen has been involved with golf for a good majority of his life. He played college golf and turned professional immediately following graduation. Paul Rudeen played the mini tours in central and south Florida while working at clubs in New Jersey and Florida. Over the years his goals shifted from playing to teaching the game. His teaching philosophy is to keep it simple and fun. He is not a methodologist; instead, Paul Rudeen does not try to squeeze square pegs into round holes. Good golf is the result of understanding that the swing is based on cause and effect, not a blueprint. Paul Rudeen has worked with a who's who of great instructors and the one common thread that he tries to incorporate into his lessons is to paint a mental picture for his students of what they need to do, and how they should feel when they are doing it. He is constantly striving to improve as a golf instructor by immersing himself in both the mechanics of the swing and the psychology behind high performance. He is always on the lookout for the latest technology that might benefit his students. Paul Rudeen has achieved a major goal by becoming a PGA Master Professional which places him within the top 1% of all PGA Professionals in the United States. His future goal is to keep learning to better help his students enjoy the greatest game of all.
