TRANS-AFRICA VALUE CORRIDOR (TRAVACO) " A Value Corridor Designed to Accelerate Human Productivity and Regional Socio-economic Transformation "TRAVACO is a planned multi-modal Cross border High Speed Logistics Value Corridor designed to link the Indian Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean across Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, DRC, Angola, Central Africa Republic and Cameroon. TRAVACO is a private sector led initiative developed by TRAVACO Ltd ( Seychelles) and SDC Capital Partners Ltd (Uganda & Hongkong) in Partnership with several private equity partners in Asia and around the World. TRAVACO shall be expanded to link and inter link existing corridors like the Central Corridor (Tanzania), Northern Corridor and LAPSET (Kenya) and Lobito Corridor (Angola) and new corridors across Africa. The uniqueness of TRAVACO lies in the Value Corridor Approach design as opposed to the Commodity based Extraction Corridor. The Value Corridor Approach is designed to improve the efficiency of logistics and to accelerate human productivity, income per-capita and Socio-economic Transformation.
