Founded in 1906, Tamarama Surf Life Saving Club was one of the first surf life-saving clubs in the world. Volunteers patrol the beach on weekends throughout summer rescuing people from the difficult conditions and providing first aid. Our volunteer lifesavers at Tamarama are some of the most skilled and committed as Tamarama shares the challenging combinations of being extremely popular and one of the most dangerous patrolled beaches on the east coast of Australia.Nestled in between Bondi and Bronte, the beach is loved by local residents and popular amongst the visitors to Sydney.
