The portal supports a case and a specimen throughout the testing journey, including patient self-registration and scheduling, specimen collection, laboratory processing, report delivery, and billing operations. The system is designed to support multiple collection workflows, including drive-through, walk-up, employer back-to-work, long term care, correctional facility, school and university system, entertainment industry, and more. Within minutes of being finalized, reports are automatically delivered from the LIS to the TestDirectly portal, and patients are notified (via email and/or SMS) that their results are ready to be reviewed.
