"Texas Caregiver Support Services" was founded in 2015 by Mr. Brian Mertz. Brian first became involved with caregiver issues after his father was diagnosed with Dementia in 2013. Two years later, Brian's mother (who was also her husband's primary caregiver) was diagnosed with Brain Cancer and passed away in June 2015. In September 2018, Brian's father passed away from, "Senile Degeneration of the Brain." After his five-year caregiver journey, Brian has dedicated his life to educating caregivers, publicizing caregiver information and promoting caregiver products & services.
