[Thaqafat] means the cultures in Arabic. Thaqafat is a new platform, providing unedited and raw content on the exchange of culture in and outside of the Arabian Gulf. The platform aims to increase shared understanding and allow people to connect to the new culture-a culture that transcends traditions and borders.We aim to provide a cross-cultural stage for those to share their story, through their eyes and from their unfiltered perspective.Thaqafat seeks to build a community where creatives, and those working at the intersection of cultural exchange can share, learn, and most importantly, connect. After years of working at the intersection of cultural diplomacy, we saw a gap. There was a lack of cultural dialogue showcasing the organic cultural momentum occurring in the Gulf.Thaqafat is our attempt to not only provide a space for the cultures to learn about each other but to break stereotypes.
