The 3V3 Soccer Academy was founded 7 years ago to give all kids 3 years old and up the personal attention they deserve to develop solid soccer skills. It is offered in 6 Charlotte, NC area locations: Indian Trail, Myers Park, Lake Norman, Concord, Waxhaw, Fort Mill, SC and Ballantyne, NC. Summer sessions take place every Tuesday night from 6:30-8:30pm starting in June and July. Kids 8 and under will train from 6:30-7:30pm and kids 9 and older will train from 7:30-8:30pm.Winter sessions will meet every Sunday from 2-4pm from December through January. Kids 8 & under will train 2-3pm and kids 9 and up 3-4pm.It is a great place to learn the game, the right way. All the trainers are former college and former professional soccer players.The 3V3 Academy runs during the summer and winter months only to compliment recreation and club programs. Whether your child has no experience or has been playing for many years, this program is great for player development.The trainers will break them into small groups of no more than a 7:1 player to trainer ratio and work on a new fundamental each week. They will review the previous week's fundamentals to reinforce what is being taught all summer/winter long. This approach helps ensure all kids walk away with improved fundamentals and a new love for the game. Through small sided soccer, each child will have an opportunity to test their improved fundamentals each week.We will teach the importance of using both feet and all parts of the foot, different types of trapping, 1v1 foot skills, positioning on and off the ball and communicating.
