The Museum is home to more than 2,500 artifacts and 11,000 books and manuscripts.Set in the picturesque West Winds Mansion on Bde Maka Ska in Minneapolis, The Bakken Museum also includes the Florence Bakken Medicinal Garden, Dakota Native Plants Garden, and one of the first green roofs in the Twin Cities.
