The Health Support Organization (THESO) is a South Sudanese based 501 (3) (C) registered non-profit organisation dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through humanitarian and developmental programmes. Formed in 2005, incorporated in 2008 by South Sudanese doctors to support South Sudan national ministry of health efforts in addressing health challenges in South Sudan, THESO is a private, voluntary, nonpolitical, nonsectarian organization. Since 2009 to date THESO is working strategically with focused within thematic areas of health, education, research, WASH & Nutrition. THESO Programmes focuses on managing larger humanitarian emergencies and building resilience through sustainable developmental projects where the triple nexus of donors, government and civil society organisation partnerships and projects are developed into well-established programmes within THESO's priority sectors of work and geographical focus. THESO vision 2030 goal is supporting reforms and transformation of South Sudan and other African countries health, education and WASH systems building resilience self-sustainable systems as a critical component to the achievement of THESO's South Sudan health, education and WASH goals of health, education and WASH outcomes.Through this Vision, THESO is adapting and interpreting the three main thematic areas of SDG goals as achieving population equity in health, education and WASH outcomes through implementation of high-quality interventions and optimization of all health, education and WASH sectors resources. THESO supports high- performing and sustainable health, education, and WASH systems as the basis for personal health, community stability, economic development, and national food security.
