The podcast will bring you conversations with an array of people working within the arts including artists, writers, musicians and curators. Chatting through their work, research, current and previous exhibitions, ideas, and their experiences. Ultimately getting an insight into their story ..what they do, why they do it, how they manage to maintain their practices..and all the good stuff in between.The podcast was created essentially out of a deep love of art, making it, talking about it and everything that surrounds it (or really more specifically in my case not talking about it enough, or even talking to people in general) but also in recognising the necessity and importance of talking and discussion, not only in the arts, but in every walk and part of life.To The Studio then hopes in some way through having and these conversations and sharing them with you, it may help to remove those imaginary walls that can seem to build up around one especially as a creative, and in doing so continuing that journey of discovery and growth.All of the podcasts are recorded in the working studios of each guest we speak to, and we will aim to put them out weekly.
