Toronto Met South Asian Association previously operating as The South Asian Alliance. TMSAA is a core member of the not-for-profit South Asian Student Group in Canada. Toronto Met South Asian Association previously operating as The South Asian Alliance has grown immensely in its 10 years of existence. From the original chapter it has grown to include an association of three Ontario Universities, a collective membership numbering in the thousands. Members include York University, University of Toronto - St. George, and Toronto Metropolitan University. Our mandate is to encourage South Asian identity within students, along with the promotion of Western ideals by hosting a wide variety of on and off campus events and fundraisers throughout the course of the academic year.
