The Toronto Pro-Am (TPA) is an innovative platform designed for NBA, G-League, and overseas athletes. Our primary focus is to offer a home away from the NBA for Canada's NBA athletes while making the experience accessible to all basketball fans. Our mission is to inspire the next generation of Canadian athletes to pursue their passions and life aspirations. The TPA is sanctioned under the NBA, which supports and elevates the pro-am experience for our high-performance athletes. In its inaugural season, the TPA established a strong presence, with seven NBA athletes participating, including four SMNT members who qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics. For the 2023-24 NBA season, Canada achieved a record-breaking milestone with 26 players on rosters, underlining our country's growing influence in the basketball world. (most-represented country outside the U.S) The TPA has cultivated a unique and engaged social media community with record-breaking numbers. In just 30 days, we reached over 4.6 million accounts and social impressions, reflecting the immense interest and support for the TPA and Canadian basketball. In collaboration with Nike Toronto, the TPA Youth Academy made a significant impact by providing free basketball programming to youth aged 7-14.
