Director of Communications is Stig Tore Laugen.TrønderEnergi owns the company Ohmia Charging AS which provides charging services and Ohmia Retail AS which provides energy advice, energy management and energy monitoring in the grocery industry.TrønderEnergi is owned by 24 municipalities in Trøndelag (old Sør-Trøndelag), KLP (Kommunal Landspensjonskasse mutual insurance company) and Nordmøre Energiverk AS. TrønderEnergi owns 40% of the grid company Tensio.
