UPAWS is an open admission, no-kill animal shelter that aims to be a safe haven for the homeless pets of Marquette County. Our mission is also to improve the quality of life and welfare for domestic animals. We hope to feel like a home to these pets and provide them with the love, medical attention and emotional care they need to be and feel the best they can when they go into their forever home.We strive to be an educational resource for the community and to build relationships with fellow shelters to strengthen the force behind animal rescue. We are a non-government funded organization that relies solely on the support of our amazing community.
