Both of these initiatives have laid out a legal framework to ensure that the origin of drugs can be tracked back to the manufacturer. Enter checkitsreal with a new Blockchain app based ecosystem that allows anyone to verify a product as real by simply scanning a QR code with a phone based app. The app can also be configured to identify that the product has been sold and is no longer available for purchase protecting both the consumer and the supplier.
