nextinct's mission is primarily to build a unique, design registered "Planet Aware" apparel and accessories business to highlight and educate the consumer as to the plight of endangered or nearly extinct species, from plants and animals to fish and insects. Our planet is home to an estimated five to one hundred million species. To date scientists have only managed to identify two million of these. Human activities such as development have cleared much of the original forests, drained half of the world's wetlands, depleted three quarters of all fish stocks and emitted enough heat trapping gasses to keep the plan warming for centuries to come.
