Nottoscale is a San Francisco / Bay Area based multidisciplinary design firm focusing on architecture, interiors and prefabrication. We specialize in custom residential, small scale commercial such as restaurants, retail stores and bars as well as prefabricated solutions. We are working with a team of international collaborators in Berlin and Bangkok and have designed and built private residences, restaurants, night clubs, doctor's offices, retail stores and community spaces in the US and abroad. Nottoscale's work is rooted in an exploration and generation of a modern vocabulary that is informed by program, process, the innovative use of material and an emphasis on spatial relationships. We use the analysis and integration of given constraints – like site conditions, technical as well as material properties, economic limits and program requirements – as an opportunity for creativity, emphasizing the unique character of each project.Nottoscale's work has received national and international awards and has been widely published in publications such as The New York Times, Wallpaper, Metropolis, Sunset Magazine and Architectural Record, to name a few.
