Tubman is a multi-service agency with over 45 years of experience providing family crisis and support services, formed from the merger of Chrysalis, A Center for Women; Harriet Tubman Center; Family Violence Network; and ElderCare Rights Alliance. Our philosophy is rooted in our namesake and inspiration, Harriet Tubman. Facing unrelenting adversities, she advised others to simply, "Keep going..."​  Each year Tubman delivers accessible and effective services to about 25,000 women, men, youth and families who have experienced relationship violence, elder abuse, addiction, sexual exploitation or other forms of trauma.  Built on a history of innovation, efficiency, and partnerships, Tubman offers countless ways to help. We provide safe shelter and transitional housing; legal services including Orders for Protection; mental and chemical health assessment, treatment and support; elder abuse services, caregiver education; parenting education and child care; youth programming and in-school violence prevention education; resource counseling, financial literacy and job readiness workshops; and community education and professional training.

The Cedar Cultural Center (also known as the Cedar) is a highly eclectic all-ages music venue located in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA. The venue is known for hosting a wide variety of folk, blues, jazz, indie rock and world artists, as well as films, spoken word performances, dances, and community events. The Cedar is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization operated by a small professional staff, with assistance from a large pool of volunteers.The Cedar was founded in 1989 and is celebrating it's 25th season of presenting the world's music beginning September 2013.  Its mission is to promote inter-cultural appreciation and understanding through the presentation of global music and dance. The Cedar is committed to artistic excellence and integrity, diversity of programming, support for emerging artists, and community outreach.

The Resonance Box is a small initiative with the intention of bringing focus to the world of auditory experiences. Hearing has not only been a way for us to enjoy beautiful music, but it has also played a key role in our survival as a species. Sound continues to stay an important aspect of our research into the unknown territories of the cosmos.
