Unfortunately, the majority of it is sourced from China where there are few safeguards in place to protect the integrity of raw materials. Even some USDA Organic certified oil is clearly adulterated when tested at our lab.Our sea buckthorn is hand harvested from wild-grown sea buckthorn plants in the high Himalayan valleys of the Tibetan cultural region of India where we have set-up local cooperatives to harvest and pre-process the berries for transport. Our oils are extracted using only Super-critical CO2 methods to ensure purity and potency. All of our end-products are produced in the USA.SIBU's signature "T7" sea buckthorn oil is guaranteed and triple-tested to be pure, organic, clean (ultra-low peroxide, plasticizer levels, etc).
