Wilson County Schools is a K-12 school district located outside of Nashville with approximately 18,000 students enrolled for the 2017-2018 school year. Wilson County includes Lebanon, Mt. Juliet, and Watertown. There are 22 school sites: 3 K-8 schools, 10 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, 4 high schools, M.A.P. Academy, and an Adult High School. The district's newest school is located in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee (Springdale Elementary). In order to make the list, a school must score among the top 5-percent in the state, for academic achievement and growth.Gladeville Elementary and Stoner Creek Elementary are both being recognized for Progress and Performance. Only 23 other schools in the state received this distinction. Wright Elementary achieved the highest growth score for elementary schools in Wilson County. Lakeview Elementary had the highest achievement score. There were 75.2% of the students who scored "on track" or "mastered" in English, Math, and Science. Mt.
