Our purpose is to connect people with information about the functionality and implementation strategies of ancient and modern forms of agroforestry. We achieve this by exploring the intersectionality of two siloed disciplines – agriculture and forestry – through programming and farm-driven research initiatives supported by academic and community partners.Farmers steward our natural resources, stitching together their livelihoods and tending agricultural landscapes. They sustain our communities while growing soil, food, medicine, and fiber. As such, efforts to scale up agroforestry in the northeastern United States will be farmer-driven.
