Back in 1956 Hong Kong Baptist University was a bold start-up, a private higher education institute born from nothing, save the funding support from the Baptist Convention plus the passion of a group of Chinese and American Christian educators. Like all start-ups, we encountered huge challenges in the early days, but for the last 60 years we constantly innovated, reinvigorated, and renewed.
