La Bodega fue fundada el año 2004 por un grupo de empresarios chilenos y por el Ingeniero Agrónomo y Enólogo Argentino Pedro Federico Rosell. Desde sus inicios el objetivo ha sido desarrollar vinos espumosos de primera calidad para el segmento de alta gama. Un mercado con un gran potencial y crecimiento en la región.En un comienzo, una de las prioridades del proyecto, fue la de encontrar el lugar más apropiado para plantar los viñedos y construir la bodega, de manera de cumplir con el objetivo de elaborar vinos espumosos del más alto nivel. Para ello se identificaron las características ideales con las cuales se debía contar. Así entonces, se escogieron zonas de buena altitud, suelos con buen drenaje, y buenas temperaturas.Los vinos espumosos de Cruzat, elaborados bajo el método tradicional de segunda fermentación de botella, son el reflejo de la permanente búsqueda de la excelencia y de la constante preocupación en cada uno de los detalles en el proceso de elaboración. Se trata de producto que combina la tradición, así como el conocimiento y la tecnología, todas puestas al servicio de nuestros expertos que día a día se entregan en la producción de los vinos espumosos Cruzat. Nuestra filosofía de trabajo en Cruzat solo acepta "excelencia en la calidad".
