Holly`s was started with a vision in 2004 by Lisa Bona who at the time was a beauty therapist with a passion for beauty and aromatherapy. She at the time saw the need for gluten, wheat and sugar free products after losing her brother to diabetes and suffering a health challenge of her own. She made the decision to start the business from a small kitchen in her home which did not come without its many ups and downs. The biggest being partners who did not share her vision, also those who were eager to join but ultimately wanting the business for themselves.\After meeting her new business partner, a businesswoman extraordinaire, who has been in business with a vast background in banking, she now has what she has dreamed of. She felt as if after a long road of frustrations, she hung in for a reason and it now seemed all was worthwhile. She feels confident that the relationship could only go from strength to strength and says "It is wonderful to finally have a partner who shares my enthusiasm and passion for what this business and its products could still achieve by adding value for those suffering from allergies, intolerances and diabetes". The new owners include Debbie Jones who is a well recognised name in business and Renee Noome brought in from Port Elizabeth with added expertise, complimented by a committed team of nine staff, headed by "Phindi" Ndwandwe who has walked the miles with Holly`s and who all strive to set new precedents in this industry with a range of 40 products.\Lisa confirmed that the biggest reward has been to receive the many calls over the years from customers telling her how much they enjoyed the products and it has been a continuous effort to make them as tasty and reasonably priced as possible.\WHERE TO FIND US\Our products can be purchased at selected stores in KZN such as SPAR, Food Lovers Markets, selected health stores and of course Dischem Pharmacies nationally.
