Founded in 2009, OIF Veteran Community was started to aid "Modern Veterans" in getting their entitlements, as promised by the government. We are now over 20,000 strong, and have been able to aid veterans with thousands of their needs. Last year alone, we were able to help over 30 veterans get 100% service connected disability. We were also able to connect hundreds of veterans to non profits, resulting in over $10,000 in monetary aid available to go directly to the veterans and families in need. We do this all for free, and on our own time, WE DO NOT DEAL DIRECTLY WITH ANY MONEY.OIF Veteran Community has big plans for the future, as we only keep growing and learning. We are planning on a Woodstock type event, but for active duty/veterans/NG/Reserves and family members only. So far the plan is to do this with all volunteers. We will be contacting a number of different organizations and non profits to get involved, and hope to have at least 150 organizations represented, giving the service members/active duty a chance to see all the programs and services available for them.
