The phase one development of the Al Jurf oil field is in final stages with the last wells being drilled.From a fixed drilling & production platform (BD1) set at 87 meters of water depth linked to a Floating, Production, Storage & Offloading unit (FPSO) set in 83 meters of water depth via 10″ sea- line of about 3 kilometers distance. First oil production was achieved on September 05th, 2003.
